Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

A Christian friend asked me if I wanted to go to an all day, Saturday, Church event at an Assemblies of God Church in Sacramento. At her first asking, I had decided not to go because of all of the Ministry work I had to do and I had made plans to work all day Saturday. Though the more I thought about it, something told me to go. The main event was a speaker who spoke on prophecy, but they had other classes on other Christian things.

This Assemblies of God Church reminded me of the last large Protestant home Church I had gone to. I had gone to my old Church for about four years, and I liked the Church, for it was loud and noisy during worship and I liked praying during the loud worship service. For the noisier they got - the better the Church liked it. It was a very theatrical Church. But then the Lord gave me Prophecy #125, which led me to look closer at my Church. This prophecy made it very clear to me on what was really going on in this Church and I began to see that the Lord was right. There was a lot of pride, stubbornness, and un-Christ-like behavior in their sermons. They even preached church division without even knowing they were saying it. Many times I had heard the pastor tell the congregation how great they were, and how they were not like those Catholics or other Protestant Churches and everyone in the area knew how great their Church choir was and how good the pastor was. For they had been on television and had been asked to sing at different places, even with the Benny Hinn Ministries, when he was in town on two occasions.

Well, to get back to this Assemblies of God Church in Sacramento. I found the attitude of this prophecy speaker no different than others I have heard at other Christian events. He gave his talk and sold his books in the entrance hallway to the Church. What caught my eye was all the dancing and flag waving and the class in flag waving. They were teaching the women how to wave and dance in front of the Church during worship. I would like to stop here and state I have no problem with dancing in Church. For if King David could danced with all his might before the Lord, what was the problem!

From the NIV Bible:

2 Sam 6:15 while he and the entire house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouts and the sound of trumpets.

2 Sam 6:16 As the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, she despised him in her heart.

2 Sam 6:17 They brought the ark of the LORD and set it in its place inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and David sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before the LORD.

2 Sam 6:18 After he had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD Almighty.

2 Sam 6:19 Then he gave a loaf of bread, a cake of dates and a cake of raisins to each person in the whole crowd of Israelites, both men and women. And all the people went to their homes.

2 Sam 6:20 When David returned home to bless his household, Michal daughter of Saul came out to meet him and said, "How the king of Israel has distinguished himself today, disrobing in the sight of the slave girls of his servants as any vulgar fellow would!"

2 Sam 6:21 David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the Lord's people Israel--I will celebrate before the LORD.

2 Sam 6:22 I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in honor."

2 Sam 6:23 And Michal daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death.

1 Chr 15:29 As the ark of the covenant of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David dancing and celebrating, she despised him in her heart.

My question is:

Is there a limit to the activities a Church should allow during worship services without causing a division within the church? I fully realize there is no limit to the Praise and Worship we must give to our Lord. But does man go too far in his showmanship and theatrics in the FLESH? For I see nothing wrong if it is in the TRUTH AND SPIRIT (John 4:23-24) of our Lord.

John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

I wondered why I did not sense our Lord at the Assemblies of God Church; since everyone else seemed to be having a great time. At one point during this service, I saw this one pretty young woman shaking and moving so many parts of her body, that an elder (I believe) of their prayer ministry went and laid his hands on her as she danced. I guess so she could move and shake more. It looked like people were just showing off and I did not sense any of the Lord in this. It seemed as though they were attempting to see who could dance and move the best. I saw crazier things than this at the Toronto Airport Vineyard at the beginning of the Toronto Blessing or movement. But this was different and very strange to see this in Church with the provocative wiggling and dancing of this young woman and with this man trying to lay his hands on her and pray. It did not look Christ-like in my eyes. At first I tried to ignore it and make nothing of it in my mind, so I just said to myself, "Ray you need a wife."

I knew about the above scriptures of David dancing (2 Sam 6:15-23) during this Church occurrence, but in my spirit I had a problem with what I was seeing. So I got up an walked out and left my friend dancing in front of the Church. I went to a Blockbuster Video store a mile down the street and stayed there for about a half an hour and returned to the Church, and sat outside for another half hour. I do not believe my friend even knew I had left.

This occurrence made me wonder why I did not sense Jesus Christ in that Church. I thought to myself maybe I have been working too hard. The above events led me to think about all the e-mail I get on church division, worship and theology. This was an example to me of how the Body of Christ has divided itself. Here is a scripture on DIVISION in the early Church and we still have it or a form of it within the Body of Christ today:

Mark 9:38 "Teacher," said John, "we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us."

Mark 9:39 "Do not stop him," Jesus said. "No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me,

Mark 9:40 for whoever is not against us is for us.

Below Ezekiel tells us about adultery, idols, defiling the sanctuary and even desecrating it. Have we changed any with our legalistic Church laws, with our modern idols and in our worship? We must seriously look at ourselves and examine the above scripture (John 4:23-24). Are we seriously worshiping our Lord in Truth and in the Spirit of Christ or do we have a theatrical Church movement within the Body of Christ which is causing a form of division.

Ezek 23:35 "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Since you have forgotten me and thrust me behind your back, you must bear the consequences of your lewdness and prostitution."

Ezek 23:36 The LORD said to me: "Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then confront them with their detestable practices,

Ezek 23:37 for they have committed adultery and blood is on their hands. They committed adultery with their idols; they even sacrificed their children, whom they bore to me, as food for them.

Ezek 23:38 They have also done this to me: At that same time they defiled my sanctuary and desecrated my Sabbaths.

Ezek 23:39 On the very day they sacrificed their children to their idols, they entered my sanctuary and desecrated it. That is what they did in my house.

Ezek 23:40 "They even sent messengers for men who came from far away, and when they arrived you bathed yourself for them, painted your eyes and put on your jewelry.

Ezek 23:41 You sat on an elegant couch, with a table spread before it on which you had placed the incense and oil that belonged to me.

Ezek 23:42 "The noise of a carefree crowd was around her; Sabeans were brought from the desert along with men from the rabble, and they put bracelets on the arms of the woman and her sister and beautiful crowns on their heads.

Ezek 23:43 Then I said about the one worn out by adultery, 'Now let them use her as a prostitute, for that is all she is.'

Ezek 23:44 And they slept with her. As men sleep with a prostitute, so they slept with those lewd women, Oholah and Oholibah.

Ezek 23:45 But righteous men will sentence them to the punishment of women who commit adultery and shed blood, because they are adulterous and blood is on their hands.

Ezek 23:46 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Bring a mob against them and give them over to terror and plunder.

Ezek 23:47 The mob will stone them and cut them down with their swords; they will kill their sons and daughters and burn down their houses.

Ezek 23:48 "So I will put an end to lewdness in the land, that all women may take warning and not imitate you.

Ezek 23:49 You will suffer the penalty for your lewdness and bear the consequences of your sins of idolatry. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD."

Church division is a big problem, and we have it in the Body of Christ today. All of this division is sinful and not of God. But there is right and wrong behavior in Church and if there is something that quickens your spirit and tells you; that something is not right and is wrong. Get up and walk out and stay away until our Lord Jesus Christ tells you what to do about it. God bless you all!

yours in Christ,

Raymond Aguilera

PS: The Lord has instructed me to place the scripture below on 4 August 98 at 2 PM.

Isa 29:13 The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men.

Isa 29:14 Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish."

Isa 29:15 Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the LORD, who do their work in darkness and think, "Who sees us? Who will know?"

Isa 29:16 You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, "He did not make me"? Can the pot say of the potter, "He knows nothing"?

Hello brothers and sisters in Christ,

I would like to tell you, what is on my mind. I have been hearing and watching the events around President Clinton’s sexual encounters. It is sad, but the Lord has exposed the Clinton Administration. It states in the Bible, we should not judge, (Mat 7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. Mat 7:2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.). But the Bible also tells us not to condone sin.

1 Cor 5:1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that does not occur even among pagans: A man has his father's wife. 1 Cor 5:2 And you are proud! Shouldn't you rather have been filled with grief and have put out of your fellowship the man who did this? 1 Cor 5:3 Even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. And I have already passed judgment on the one who did this, just as if I were present.

In 1 Cor 5:3, Paul actually passed judgment on the man above. Our Lord at times places a burden on certain people to pray for our leaders. But just because you pray for our leaders - it does not mean that the prayers are going to answered in the manner we would like. President Clinton has a free will; to follow Christian values or to follow the world’s standards. He can still go to church and claim to be an upright Christian. But as we all know, no one can fool God! There will come a time, when our knees just as his, will touch the floor before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For the actual problem belongs to the Lord, and the Lord the does not have problems, but He does have solutions.

Now, lets look at: 1 Cor 5:2 And you are proud! Shouldn't you rather have been filled with grief and have put out of your fellowship the man who did this? If these sins are found to be true and if Clinton has not repented - do you believe, we would see or hear from the Body of Christ bringing President Clinton into some sort of accountability? I wonder how President Clinton’s church will interpret the above scripture. Can you imagine - what it would say to the world, if President Clinton was asked to leave his church because of this. This would put Christianity on the lips of the whole world. Now, as for the United States as a whole, they seem not to care. For as long as the economy and things are going well - they are happy! What does this tell you about the morality of the United States?

As for myself - I have been viewing this through the eyes of Matt 24:6-13.

Mat 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Mat 24:7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. Mat 24:9 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. Mat 24:10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, Mat 24:11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Mat 24:12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, Mat 24:13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

In Matt 24:12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, this scripture tells us wickedness will increase, and these Words; "the LOVE that is stated that will grow cold", is this the love for our Lord - that will grow cold? I am not hearing a cry for morality and righteousness from the Christian leaders in this country or am I not listening hard enough! If the approval percentages are correct of the American people for Clinton Presidency - I believe, we are very close to the end of the timeline of Mat 24: 6-13. We also have to remember that all the prayers in the universe will not change the scriptures of Matt 24: 6-13. These things (Mat 24:6 Such things must happen) have to happen before our Lord comes. And I believe as Christians, we have to start looking at the wider picture of world events, and relate them to what the Bible tells us. We have to be like the five virgins who were wise:

Mat 25:1 "At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Mat 25:2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. Mat 25:3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. Mat 25:4 The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. Mat 25:5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. Mat 25:6 "At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!' Mat 25:7 "Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. Mat 25:8 The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.' Mat 25:9 "'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.' Mat 25:10 "But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. Mat 25:11 "Later the others also came. 'Sir! Sir!' they said. 'Open the door for us!' Mat 25:12 "But he replied, 'I tell you the truth, I don't know you.' Mat 25:13 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

God bless you all!

yours in Christ,

Raymond Aguilera
